Arm Warmers

I usually don't knit for people, because I noticed nobody seems to like the things I make... lol~ :P For that reason, I only make for myself. :X Since I don't have the money to buy gifts this year, I decided to make things for them. The past two days I spent knitting an arm warmer for my oldest sister-in-law. I hope she likes it! :X

Here's a picture of my recent project during the process:
Yup, I used four needles! :P It can get confusing, but that's the only way to go in circular movements.
Here's how the final product looks! I hope you can see the chain in the middle of the arm warmers. I know you cannot see this, but there's a single hole on the side of each arm warmer. The hole is for the person to put their thumb through it. ;)

All I needed is a model to show you how the arm warmers looks like... lol~ Tobey volunteered! Okay, okay I forced him to model the arm warmers... hehe~ :P
I made him model the one I made for myself last year. I didn't want him to try on a gift and make it stink... hehe~ :P

It's very very cute especially the pattern! I love wearing warmers, I used to wear that all the time in highschool with uniform either black warmer or white warmer I think they are so cute. It's gonna be great gift!

Tobey look so cute with the arm warmers on. Hehee, he looked like more than pleased to do the modeling.

What are you talking about, of course I still coming back to your blog unless you don't want me to..:D. I totally understand the addiction and temptation on buying make up. I was that way too, that's why I am trying not to post much make up related items. Less trying, less temptation.:P. I am trying to focus more on real life things than just make up. So far this has worked for me. I have been buying less make up lately, I think the addiction on make up finally has die down for me and I am glad.:)

I'm addicted to arm warmers and fingerless gloves, I have about 20 pairs. You should make an Etsy page, I'd buy a pair of these ;x

Anastasia said...

Oh, really? Etsy is like a community for people who sell handmade things. I guess it's a bit like CaféPress, where you can set up your own shop on their site and sell your stuff, except of course, it's all handmade by you and you can charge whatever you like.

Check it out to see what I mean! www.etsy.com
I, for one, am a HUGE fan of knitwear and arm wamers/mittens in particular :3
