Born Pretty Store had tons of gorgeous hair accessories. I was fortunate to receive one. It was a tough decision but I decided to get the Crystal Rhinestone Butterfly Hairpin Clip Wedding Bridal.

Las Vegas and Victoria's Secret Winner

I know this is late, but I really do hope everyone had a great Christmas! I hope it was surrounded by love ones. :)

The reason why I haven't posted in awhile is because I decided to take my father to Vegas. I wanted to show him that I appreciate everything he has done for me. He's been a great support system, as well as, the perfect father for me!
We stayed at Stratosphere for three days and two nights.
We even went to the tower. It's the first time for me ever! In all honesty, I was scared to try any of the rides, as well as, jumping off the tower. I saw two brave people jump off. I give them so much credit! I took a picture of the main strip from the tower.
The first night there we went to MGM and watched David Copperfield, famous illusionist. We had a great seat and his tricks were amazing. I got an autographed picture because I was part of audience participation.

The next day I went to the Las Vegas Premium Outlets, North. I did not know Las Vegas had two outlets, North and South. I will have to check out South the next time I go to Vegas. If you been to both outlets, which is better?
At the CCO I got MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in Earthly. I believe the collection came out in the summer, but I could be wrong.
At the other cosmetic store (cannot remember the exact name), I got Lancome Color Design Sensational Effects Eye Shadow Quad Smooth Hold in Stunning Soiree. It's not my typical colors which worries me. I hope I can make this work!

I wish I took more pictures but overall, I had a good time!

Blinc Eyeliner

Please don't forget to enter Victoria's Secret Blush Giveaway. It ends December 22, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. PST (Pacific time).

In July, I was fortunate to receive Beauty Box 5. Beauty Box 5 is a beauty sampling subscription that comes to your door every month.
This was my July 2012 Beauty Box 5. You can check out my post to see what I received and what I thought about this subscription. For this post, I am going to review the Blinc Eyeliner.
Product Review: Blinc Eyeliner Brush It On... Slide It Off! in Black

Where to purchase: Sephora stores, sephora.com, and blincinc.com
Price: $26 for 0.21 oz/ 6 g

Description on the back: Blinc's Eyeliner is the original eyeliner invented to form a water-resistant "layer of color" that contours your eyes. Since Blinc is not a cosmetic paint like conventional eyeliners, it cannot fade, smudge, run or flake, even if you cry or rub your eyes.

The intense layer of color creates a dramatic look that lasts all day. Only when you are ready for removal, the layer of color will effortlessly slide off your skin into your hand without the use of a harsh makeup remover.

Ideal for those with sensitive eyes, contact lens wearers, performers and active people in search of an eyeliner whose look, hold and ease of removal is without compromise.
Ingredients:
Thoughts: The first time I heard about this brand was from a pastor from my church. She mentioned it's the only eyeliner brand she uses and own every color. Other than that, I have never heard of this brand. When I saw the sample, 0.02 oz/ 0.7 g, I was pretty excited and curious to know why the pastor loves this brand.
The packaging of the sample did not blow me away. It just looks cheap.
The real packaging looks better. I actually like it.
Here's a picture of the brush. It's really thin and sturdy. It glides easily on the eyes.
A swatch of the eyeliner.
Here's how the eyeliner looks on me.

My overall opinion... I actually liked it but I wouldn't say it's the best. I like that it's easy to apply on the eyes, does not smudge, and easy to take off. I also like the thin, sturdy brush. The thing I don't like is small, but I don't like shiny eyeliners. It's just my personal taste. I tend to go for matte eyeliners. That's probably why I like cream/gel eyeliners. Other than that, this is a great eyeliner!

Pros:
* Thin, sturdy brush.
* No makeup remover required.
* Applies easily on the skin.
* Does not smudge.

Cons:
* Does not have a lot of varieties of colors; only have black, brown, and gray.
* Shiny eyeliner.

Would repurchase: Maybe.
Rating:  4.5/5 Tobey's Paws

Stila Warehouse Sale Winter 2012 Haul

Please don't forget to enter Victoria's Secret Blush Giveaway. It ends December 22, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. PST (Pacific time).

I met up with a friend this morning, December 15, for the Stila Warehouse Sale. From my experience Stila has a warehouse sale twice a year, but I could be wrong. The last time I went was this past August. You can read the post to see what I hauled. Now for my haul...
I didn't get as much as last time, but it's all worth it! Some of these are gifts. I will only post the ones I got for myself.
Stila All Over Shimmer in #3, gold shimmer. I originally was going to the pink shimmer until I talked with the makeup artist. She thought the gold shimmer will look best with my yellow tone. She convinced my friend and me.
Stila Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Sequins.
Stila Kajal Eye Liner in Pearl. The product is still available, but the color is discontinued or at least I cannot find it on the website. I will not review this product unless you want me to.
Stila Long Wear Lip Color in Flushed. I really liked the color when I swatch it, but it doesn't look too good on me. :/ I will make it work.
Stila 4 Piece Brush Set in #7 crease brush, #4 eye liner brush, #2 small concealer brush, and #11 large concealer brush. I originally was not going to get this, but it was such a good deal I could not refuse.

I'm so proud of myself that I held back which is amazing in itself! If you're in Los Angeles tomorrow, the Stila Warehouse sale is still going on. You should check it out. It's very worth it! :)

JustFab After Glow Clutch and Stila Love at First Blush

Disclaimer: The products mentioned in this post are bought with my money. I am not affiliated with the companies nor getting paid to advertise the products. This post is written with my honest opinion.

Please don't forget to enter Victoria's Secret Blush Giveaway. It ends December 22, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. PST (Pacific time).

I bought a clutch from JustFab in October. I know it's late, but better late than never or at least that's what I say. ;) This is my first and only purpose so far from this website. When I saw this clutch, I just fell in love with it. It reminded me of clutches from Alexander McQueen. Even though I was drawn to the bag, I was skeptical. I searched online for reviews other than from the website and I could not find anything at the time. For that reason, I want to post my thoughts about this bag for anyone who is interested.

Scented Body Creme

Please don't forget to enter Victoria's Secret Blush Giveaway. It ends December 22, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. PST (Pacific time).

I received samples of Scented products. If you're like me, you have never heard of Scented. Scented is an online website that sells bath and body products. Their mission...

"We offer high-quality, luxury bath and body products that are completely toxin-free and derived from nature as well as an opportunity for women who wish to earn an income alongside all of their other responsibilities."

Here's a picture of the samples I received.
For this post, I will review the body creme. It's the container on the farthest right.

Where to purchase: scentedco.com
Price: $18 for 8 oz

Description on the site: Hand crafted with skin-softening botanical ingredients, our decadent Body Creme is bursting with fragrance and offers intense nourishment and moisturization. In tons of amazing fragrances, our Body Creme softens skin and combats dryness, leaving it lightly perfumed.
Ingredients:
Thoughts: In all honesty, I had no opinion about this product. I have never even heard of this brand. So when I received the samples, I was most excited about trying the body creme. It reminded me of The Body Shop Body Butters for some odd reason. There was one thing I was disappointed about and that was the fragrance I received. I'm not the biggest fan of coconut. I cannot even eat it! Let me tell you what they wrote for coconut lime verbana...

"A zesty citrus bouquet of lime, kumquat, grapefruit, lemon, with a soft floral undertone of jasmine, on a background of musk and sandalwood."

In their description of the scent, there's no mention of coconut. Even when I apply the product, I cannot smell coconut whatsoever. Their description of the scent is very true to the smell while applying. It's very citrus-like which I happen to like! If you don't like coconut lime verbana, they have other scents. They have herbal lavender & lemongrass, black raspberry vanilla, New York, and mango mandarin.

Even though I did not smell coconut, I noticed it in the ingredients (coconut oil). I also noticed it's one of the shortest list I have seen and they're all natural. There's no ingredients that is harsh to the body, as well as, no parabens. The two ingredients that stand out to me are cocoa butter and shea butter, moisturizing products.
Here's how the product look. It looks very thick like body butter from The Body Shop.
Here's a little of the body creme on my hand. It's not thick at all! I wouldn't even say it's a cream. It's more a lotion to me. In my mind, the concept of a lotion is always on the light side. For that reason, I think of lotion great for the summer when you don't need that much hydration. With this winter weather when our skin gets dry, lotion will not cut out for me. Let me tell you I'm wrong about this light body creme. This product works better than any thick consistency body product I have ever tried! Yes, it works better than body butter and I hate to admit it. :X

I apply this creme right after I shower and it hydrates me until the next time I shower. Most body products only last me a day and if I'm lucky two. The first two places I notice dryness other than my hands are feet and legs. With this product, I never notice any flakiness whatsoever. The only thing I don't like is that you have to apply a lot of this product. If you grab a little, for example the amount pictured on my hand, it won't go far on your skin. It sinks into your skin quickly and does not spread like butter. For that reason, you have to use a lot. Overall, this is a great product and I highly recommend it!

Pros:
* All natural ingredients.
* No parabens.
* Hydrating ingredients; cocoa butter and shea butter.
* Sturdy container; it won't open accidentally or break.
* Smells citrus-like.
* Extremely hydrating!

Cons:
* Need to buy online unless you know a sales representative.
* Light in texture.
* Need to apply a lot.

Would repurchase: Yes, great for winter weather.

November Favorites and Finished Products, and Giveaway

Wow! It's that time of the month, "Favorites and Finished Products." Time sure flies.

November Favorites
b.liv Mask in Sheer Off Crease: This is the third box from b.liv I've used, and I still have one more box to use. Out of the three I've used, I have to say this is my favorite so far. This box is suppose to help with collagen production and reduce wrinkle. I'm sure it's a combination of skin care products and this mask, but I did notice less wrinkle around my eyes and forehead the last several weeks.

Scented Body Butter in Coconut Lime Verbana: The first time I applied this body butter I was not optimistic. It's very light. It did not feel like a cream/butter. It felt more like a lotion which isn't thick enough for this winter weather for my dry skin. Let me tell you I was so wrong about this product! I'm amazed for a light consistency product is better than a lot of thicker products out there. It kept me moist a lot longer than most products I have tried.

Aveeno Positively Ageless Lifting & Firming Eye Cream: This eye cream is on the thicker consistency and it works well for aging skin like myself. It applies smoothly, as well as, melts into your skin. I also like that it comes in a tube rather than a container. It's sanitary safe and it works well!

Revlon PhotoReady Primer + Shadow Palette in Metropolitan: I already reviewed this product. What can I say about this palette other than I love it! If you're not into glitter/shiny eyeshadows, I highly do not recommend this product. It lasts all day and it reminds me of Japanese palettes.

Holika Holika Love Fantasy Blush in Pink: I also reviewed this product. Not only is the packaging cute, it applies smoothly and last all day long. What more can you ask from a blush!

November Finished Product
The Body Shop Body Butter in Jolly Orange: I received this from a friend. She's always giving me The Body Shop Body Butters because she knows I love them. It's very sweet of her! :) In all honesty, it does not smell like orange. If you're looking for orange scent, this isn't it. Even though, it doesn't smell like orange, it smells fruity and nice. The reason why I love body butters from The Body Shop is because it melts like butter, and it's hydrating.

Would repurchase: Yes!
