In January, 2014, I attended IMATS Pro Night. I purchased some NYX products.

Here's my haul. I already reviewed the Butter Lipsticks in Fun Size (left one) and Pops (right). For t his post, I will focus on the chunky lip pencils.

Thoughts: When I saw this displayed at the NYX's booth, I was drawn to it and it didn't hurt it's a brand new product. As a beauty blogger, you try to post new products so readers can check it out. Of course it's very hard for many of us since we're not lucky to get products before it comes out. Since IMATS happen about a month ago, I would have expected this to be on their website. I could not find any information on these or I'm just skipping it. :/
Here's a closer look at the lip color. It's a gorgeous pink color and very true to color!
Here's a swatch of the color.

Now for how it looks on me...
This is a very sheer lip color, it's my lips but better.
Here's how the lip color looks overall on me.

Now for my overall opinion.. First of all, there's no scent whatsoever. Secondly, the consistency is creamy and it applies smoothly. I don't know if it's just me but with both NYX Butter Lipsticks (in Pops and Fun Size) and now Chunky Dunk Lippie, they apply like lip balms. They don't feel like lipsticks at all and there's no slight tug. I actually like the consistently. They're creamy, applies smoothly, and there's no stickiness. With that said, the pigmentation is on the sheer side. It's my lip but better type of lip product. If I do repurchase, I would try the brighter colors. I think this color is pretty on me but it also doesn't look like I'm wearing anything. It's just shiny and very slight color. The best part, in my opinion, it's hydrating. Whenever I wear lip colors with no hydration, my lips feel dry after it rubs off. I wore this all day and even took a nap. My lips felt smooth and did not feel dried. Lastly, it lasts a long time until I eat or drink.

Pros:
* Comes in a variety of colors.
* Packaging matches the color of the lip color.
* Love the name, Chunky Dunk.
* Retractable.
* No scent.
* Creamy texture.
* Smooth application.
* Not sticky.
* Hydrating.
* Long lasting until you eat or drink.

Cons:
* Can be hard to find in stores at the moment.
* Can be hard to find it online at the moment.
* Sheer pigmentation.

Would repurchase: Yes, in darker and brighter colors.
Rating:  4/5 Tobey's Paws

Such a pretty colour on you :) Even though these pen style lip products are all the rage at the moment, I still haven't tried one yet! I must get onto it ASAP!

Very pretty color! This Chunky Dunk Lippie looks like a lot of lip pen products but I think it reminds me more of Kiko Lip Gloss Stick, because of the sheer pigmentation and the texture.

Thank you! I love the pen style lip products. They seem easy to color your lips.

Thank you! I have never heard of Kiko Lip Gloss Stick. Is it an Asian brand?

No it's Italian. And it's very popular in France :)
